The Ohme ePod is a compact, smart, untethered home charger that supports any Type 2-compatible EV using your own cable. It delivers up to 7.4 kW (32 A) of power, and intelligently optimises charging through the Ohme app to take advantage of off-peak energy tariffs and surplus solar generation. The unit features three touch-sensitive buttons and an LED strip to control and monitor charging without a screen. It has built-in 3G/4G connectivity (with SIM included for the first 3 years), dynamic load balancing via a CT clamp, and safety features like PEN-fault detection and 6 mA DC protection. With its compact IP55-rated housing and 3-year warranty, it’s designed to be practical and reliable for home use.
